For me, boxsets are iffy. It depends on what it is I guess. If I don’t own any of the DVDs, I’ll probably buy it. It’s convenient and cheaper…
Finally made it to 500.
BTW, you dvdafficianado users might notice that your link has gone down. Looks like they’ve done some changing and you’ll have to “migrate” your collection to the new upgrade. I miss the old look. 
I’m somewhere around 408. Trying to keep the number as low as possible by selling unneeded stuff but I can’t help it from growing. I’ve sold 35 dvds this year and yet the number of dvds owned is notably higher that it was 6 months ago.

it’s a mess I know but at least I can include all the films I own (and with the necessary technical info). dvdaficionado and the likes are useless. Half of my dvds aren’t in the database.

btw dvd afictionado really sucks ass now, they dont have half the movies I own listed…man they fucked up a good thing.
Just had birthday yesterday, which resulted in 5 DVDs. Which means that we have 230 DVDs now (we = as in the family, still living home). It’s nothing against my grandmother’s brother, who has over 4000 movies!

I’ve recently got into torrents, so many films that I haven’t been able to see I can get. I assume they don’t count as part of your DVD collection?

One thing they don’t have of mine, which is very annoying, are the Yu-Gi-Oh Japanese box set anime series. I’ve had these for years now, so they’re probably out of print.
