I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this yet, searching the board didn’t return anything, but this clip features music from “The Battle of Algiers”.

Oh and hi, first post here.
You know what, Ordell? You’ve convinced me that I may have misinterpreted that quote so I moved Cat People to the Unconfirmed/Speculation section.
Hi Regresser, and Welcome! Yes we’ve seen that but thank you.

SPOILER (for people not wanting to know when music played)
Just found out, you were right the first time, surprisingly enough. I thought it would have happened at that later point too.

How’d you find out? A friend of a friend of a friend saw the flick? Not challenging you I’m just curious. I’m suspect of any montage sequence.
The way that the article compares it to Reservoir Dogs and “Stuck In The Middle With You” makes me think it’s more of that build up that explodes into violence or something that breaks the tension.
If people are gonna post any spoilers can you change the text to dark gray or black just so it doesnt stand out as much? I dont want to read any by accident. Thanks!

It’s like that Obsessed with Film review says. Yeah, I’d imagine maybe more “Son of a Preacher Man” or “Girls you’ll be a Woman Soon”.
Found out from The Playlist. Check their latest blogs, they’ve a lot of IB stuff.
Cool, I’ll have to keep up with that then.
Sorry, Pete. I didn’t think of that. I originally created a new spoiler-marked thread for my post, but Seb moved it in here. It seems I’m too late to modify it again now though.
HEY!
Nothing we don’t know but they have added the soundtrack page on the Inglourious Basterds website. According to the website, we can expect the soundtrack on August 18! VICTORY! Not really, August 18 is almost as far as the 21st, but fuck it, we know when we can get the music to the best film of the fucking year.
thanks for the info… i thought they’d release it earlier though… oh well.
btw most of the links to mp3s etc in this topic have of course been removed. please refrain from linking to copyrighted material
That’s only what it says on the website.

The song After the Verdict, whats the italian title? I found the soundtrack on itunes and it’s all in italian.
I think it’s “Dopo la condanna”.
What’s the english title of “L’incontro Con La Figlia”. It may have another name on the soundtrack for The Return Of Ringo

The meeting with the daughter, if my italian serves me correctly ;D but seriously I think that’s it.
I almost have gathered all the songs from the film. but i’ll buy/download the soundtrack anyway because soundtracks are so much funner with cool Dialogue! ;D
I guess I’m going to buy the fucking record of “The Return of Ringo” to get L’incontro con la figlia. so i can transfer it on my itunes, and usually sound is pretty shitty on record as we all know, and do u know how much that fucker costs? like $59.99, oh well i once paid $80 for the japan, and $52 for the U.S. “il Grande Duello” soundtrack.

Are you talking about vinyl? Because vinyl sounds a thousand times better than compressed to the point of nothing MP3 files.
