Alot of people seem to enjoy Pulp Fiction and Resv Dog more because it is stylish and violent (not to say they arent great films though) but i think Jackie Brown is Tarantino’s best.
What do you guys think?
there is already a topic on this subject…
personally I think Kill Bill is his best yet…but my favorite is Pulp fiction at the moment…but this changes every week or so… ;D
I would say JB was his most realistic movie so far.
oh definately, also his most subtle i think.
i love Pam Grier and RObert Forster in this movie.
I’d have to say that my fav. is pulp fiction…(call me cliched, I’ve only got a few to pick from)
I think you can not compare JB with PF or KB because
- JB’s storyline was created by elmore leonard NOT by quentin
- It is a complete other type of movie (PF and KB don’t take themselves very serios but JB does)
For me JACKIE BROWN and PULP FICTION are both on number1 of my personal favourites
You can compare anything.
of course you can,
but not everything you CAN do
must make sense. too

Dude that was a haiku!
oh yes you’re right
now i see it too
thats cool (because i’m still learning english)

You can compare virtually anything based on the medium it appears on/in. You can also make sense of it…or at least I can.
You’ve given me a great idea…I’m going to find another forum where the kids don’t know me, and I’m going to post in nothing but rhyme and poetry.

actually, that was not a haiku…haiku is made up of 5 syllabiles on the first line, 7 on the second, and 5 on the last…the fact that the first on has 4 and the 2nd one has 8 is enough to tell me that that is not a haiku…
who cares? in the end, Haikus suck anyways.
haikus are awesome
they are so easy to write
fuck haiku haters
Haikus are dumb, they don’t even rymme
It’s an artform. Some dig it, others don’t. I’m indifferent.

I like haiku...
“Kill Bill” is his best yet. “Jackie Brown” is second, followed by “Pulp Fiction.” I just like JB’s style and the way it flows. PF is still a classic though, all QT’s flicks are. PF is kinda hard to watch at times. I found myself popping in JB on a regular basis and letting it play…

so what, not all good poetry has to rhyme!
