Yes, Planet Terror was shot digitally, Death Proof on film. Robert Rodriguez was the DOP on Planet Terror, Quentin on Death Proof.
who i didn’t know he was technically capable of being a DOP… i am all the more suprised that the pictures i saw are gorgeous…

quentin is the man he can do anyting…it was a pretty small movie, so it was good for him to learn, he said RR had been telling him he should try it

well it’s not like it’s Quentin’s first movie ever. after so and so many years making quality movies, he probably learned a LITTLE bit about cameras, lighting and lenses and stuff… so let’s all chill out, he might not turn into Robert Richardson over night but most directors out there are probably capable of that job to some extent. plus, low budget productions death proof wants to immitate might not have had the budget to hire a DOP

i thought they had between 60 and 100M 
yea ino because if it was that low budget the point that they couldent higher a DP then i doubt that they would have lost money in the boxoffice like they did.
