Tarantino Fantasy
i’d really like to see a mafia movie made by QT. i really think he could pull it off, he’s great with dialogue. plus i really like mafia movies.
dido, Pink i like mafia flicks too. QT could definetely pull that off. no doubt about it!
I dont know what kind of music Kill Bill will have. Its a revenge film so I dont know if QT plans on scoring it with original music or if hes gonna use his famous retro tastes and throw some obscure pop classics in it. Whatever he does I dont want any hip hop music in it or techno beats.
Well your hopes have been Dashed as RZA is supplying some of the music

"Well your hopes have been Dashed as RZA is supplying some of the music "

My hopes have been dashed? What the hell are you talking about? I knew RZA was doing the music months ago. I already said a long time ago I have no problem with him scoring it.

Just because RZA is a rap artist doesnt mean the score is going to be just hip hop. Its going to be whatever QT wants or needs for it to kick ass. At this point I dont care what music he uses as long as its something exciting and fresh.

I’d like to see him do a Grand Theft Auto movie…

One thing I’d love him to do when his career is coming to an end would be a tribute to Tarantino flick. References to all his past films!! That would be the ULTIMATE QT FEST!!

Filmgeek 23 opened a second topic about thit theme. This is what he wrote:

It’s fairly clear that Quentin is dedicated for now to getting Inglorious Bastards finished, but I wondered what some of you guys would like to see from him in the future.

I personally am a huge Elmore Leonard fan, and loved QT’s adaptation of “Rum Punch” (Jackie Brown). I would love to see him work from some more Leonard stories; his newest is called “Pagan Babies,” and after reading it, I can really envision it as a Tarantino movie.

I also often wonder what a Tarantino romantic comedy would look like? Anyway, let’s hear your thoughts!

I would LOVE to see Quentin Tarantino write and direct a spaghetti western. That would be so great, seen as Sergio Leone is his favourite director, this would be one kick-ass film maybe with a Clint Eastwood cameo returning as the legendary ‘man with no name’. But, Quentin has said that Volume 2 was part Spaghetti western, but Inglorious Bastards will be his proper spaghetti western so I guess my dream might come true.

I would also like to see Tarantino make a gangster film.Yes there have been many gangster films and some might say they have been done to the death. But I can’t recall a ‘proper’ gangster film done recently about the mafia and triads and other gangs. I think QT would make a brilliant gangster film and his first 3 films had gangsters or gangster-like characters in them so we allready know what kind of characters he can make. So I want him to make a mafia/triad/any other gang movie. He could have the likes of De niro, Pacino, Joe Pesci, Sam Jackson, John Travolta, James Gandolphini etc etc and have a score written by a morricone and Rodriguez! One can only dream…

I wouldn’t want him to do a rom-com or any other mushy type films or musicals and such. I just want him to do crime films, westerns, kung fu films, war films, well what he has been doing recently but none of those girly films.

I’d have to disagree with you there. If romcoms and chick-flicks are going to be made anyway, wouldn’t you rather have them written by Quen and directed by, like, John Woo? Think about it, the two lovers are sparring partners or something. They team up to defeat some crime boss and fall in love, with lots of blood along the way.

Didn’t Jackie Brown have tons of romantic parts in it? Probably some of his other films, too.

i would like to see QT do a James Bond film. Hey maybe the next Harry Potter too ahahaha

Well films with lood and guts and bad language in them aren’t really considered rom-coms are they? Also, I wouldn’t want anybody BUT Quentin to direct his screenplays!!

Well, a rom com is something with romance (love) and comedy. Who says it can’t also have violence and shit? Like Romeo Must Die, for example.

Yeh I get what you mean, but Romeo Must Die isn’t a rom-com!! When I said Rom-com I meant shit like “You Got Mail” and that Mel Gibson one where he knows what women are thinking. Rom-coms are for the women, you wouldn’t see a guy go watch a rom-com by himslef unless he was gay or was very in touch with his feminine side.

I wouldn’t mind romantic films (True Romance was a romantic films) but not a rom-com which is totally different. This is a genre where the film is trying to be funny and is light-hearted, but we all know Quentin wouldn’t make some shit like that.

yea it not his style man,

plus romeo-must-die, was a romeo and juliet story.

see when hollywood as no original ideas, the make another shakespear adaptation, or they make a Stephen King adaption.

I think a romantic-comedy is to light hearted for a QT movie, the different countries idea was really good, he’s already said that Inglorious is going to be his spaghetti western, but what I think he should do next is a film about drugs and the harsh reality about them… no wait that was alredy in Pulp, dammit. Um, ok how about, umm oh I know something that would be totally sweet, if QT made a film about the assasination of the Arch-Duke of Austria. (The event that started WWI) He could probably get Steve Buscemi to play Gavrillo Prensc’ip, it could all be in english, but have Austrian and Croetian sub-titles just for humor, and if that ain’t Tarantinoesque I don’t know what is.

wouldnt mind QT doing a weed movie, not like a pothead comedy, like harold and Kumar, but seeing that QT does enough weed he should.

Yeah I could see QT doing a weed movie, it would kinda be like the marijuana version of Blow.

well i dont think you can get that rich with weed like Johnny Depp’s character did with coke in Blow,

Yeah your right, weed has never been that much of a money maker.

Does anyone have an opinion about my idea?

If Quentin finished his career after making 6 more films after Inglorious Bastards, I think they should be:

a horror movie

a western

a sci-fi movie

a comedy

a drama

Casino Royale :stuck_out_tongue:

Low budget horror movie

just as an extra on a dvd or something

just a 20 minute cheap horror flick

would be awesome
