Jag håller med. Det verkar som att han mest är ute efter pengar, vilket är rätt trist. Det ska vara lite konstnärskap i film iallafall, tycker jag.

Yeah, he is. But he wasn´t such a sell-out in his early years as a director.
Yeah, Duel rocked but after Jaws or maybe Close Encounters of the third kind he became a real fudging sellout >:(
Yeah. He got his first taste of real success with Jaws, and then it all began going downwards. Not that he makes bad movies, but i think you need some artistic integrity if you are being a director.

I think the same, that’s why I can count him in my fav directors. I love so much some of his movies, BUT he still is a commercial director… SO I can’t consider him as much excellent as a complete artistic accomplished director… :-</E> Too bad for him…
Yeah, i think that he could´ve made some more artistic movies inbetween the more commercial. I would´ve respected and liked him more.

wow, that’s such a sin saying that, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Jurrasic Park, Saving Private Ryan etc. etc. Spielberg is the third best director ever in my book, a sellout? He makes movies for the people, every single person (including himself), entertainment, he’s a legend

He didn’t get a dime out of Schindler’s List, so it’s hard to call him a sell out.
