Strip club scene?

Are there some scene’s that take place at a strip club? the owner of a local club, The New Reflections in Victorville, CA, has been claiming since–well, a long time–that Tarantino and his crew are doing this.

So, I want to know if its true. he says the crew will be there to film Nov. 4th and 5th I believe.

One of the characters in Kill Bill, Budd, is a strip club bouncer, and there is indeed a scene in which Uma follows him into the strip club he works at. So it’s likely to be true. If you can manage a visit to the set (since you seem to know the owner of the place), make us some cool pics please

that’s cool! take some pictures of Budd the Bouncer!!

Its called the “MY OH MY CLUB” in the script. Yeah, definitely get some pics for us! That would rock! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Yes I do know the club owner very well. I played in the house band for a while, my current band frequents the place, and the owner’s son had my dad for a teacher.

He has been claiming this for a while, and he is getting a make-over for the club plus getting paid. He also told me months ago it was going to be called the ‘Me Oh My’ strip club or something to that effect. Filming is scheduled for the first week of Nov.

He has already told me if extra’s are needed, me and my friends are at the top of the list.

If I can get pics and stuff, I’ll let you know…

Thanks for the info.

that’s so great, man.

You can say that again Seb.

Imagine being an extra in a Tarantino film? I dont even think about it for too long…ill faint.

Anyway, pictures would be more than sufficient for us here at tarantino.info

J.W.

Filming has been pushed back, looks like next Wednesday. I’ll let you guys know…

They filmed it a week ago. My ex-bass player is an employee of this club, and he calle dme and quit the day before shooting, and neglected to tell me. I showed up 2 hours after teh last truck left. the owner asked where I had been, he had a security shirt waiting for me soi could be on teh closed set.

It was Michael Madsen’s last scences, he wrapped.

Quentin I heard was very cool, and even granted an exclusive interview to some high school girls who work for a television station that broadcasts from teh school. he also let them shoot while he was shooting scenes, and he would turn and discuss what he was doing and such.

I heard about this from the owner. Unfortunately, only the school gets this exclusive look–the producer of the movie told the owner he’d use his disney lawyers to hang him if he got a copy of it, so no one will get to see this until it airs on our local cable station. So that’s teh report…

That just goes to show how cool QT really is.

Perhaps those HS girls will be the next big thing to shake up Hollywood: they learned from the best!

You don’t know how hard I’m slapping myself up the head right now.

I guess I should just finally splurge and read the script before any more surprises like this occur.

So there was filming going on in Victorville last November? Gyaddamn!

Man, you can check the archives here at this forum and see for yourself that I wasn’t around here throughout October. Where was I? Yup, you guessed it, Victorville.

Funny thing is though, I don’t remember seeing any articles about the filming going on out there. Ohh man, this is killin’ me.

As for the Odyssey interview (Odyssey is the public broadcasting High School special) Well, I highly doubt that I would be able to get that on tape, but what a treasure it is to know that QT made an appearance at one of my local schools. Damn, it truly is a small world.
