Oh did you read that Spike criticized Clint for making Bird (film about Charlie Parker who was black) and said “Why did HE make that?”. Then he was pissed cuz Clint didnt put any black guys in his last war films. That makes alot of sense doesnt it? WTF? >:(

Whatever, we should NOT judge an artist as a man like we love Spike Lee for his directing skills, Michael Jackson for his talent, Doherty, Amy Winehouse, and the list goes on. There’s no use talking sh#t about people while we don’t know them.
I can judge them by the things they do and say. Spike should shut up, Amy Wino should stop taking drugs and Jacko should stop fondling children. They are all assholes IMO. Sorry if that offends you Lil, but thats how I feel.

Ahah, no, don’t worry, it doesn’t offend me. I’m just saying that if they want to waste their lives, be assholes, I don’t care. I have my own opinions about them, I do think the exact same about their behaviours though I’d like to consider them only as artists and that’s all.
When Spile Lee attacks another artist, of course, he should shut up and that’s really blameful but when it comes to personal choices like drugs and all, it has nothing to do with art, only destroying their own lives. The danger here is that some people start to judge them for what they are and misunderstood their art and that shouldn’t be that way.
I dont judge their art. Im a fan of Spike, Amy Wino and Jacko, not so much. But I think just because someones an artist or famous, that doesnt give them the right to do bad things. I dont care who they are, they need to live right and not fuck with other people.
Exactly, we do agree on that, it starts to be annoying when they fuck with other people. Before that, they do whatever they want with their lives.
I just started this conversation over and over again because it’s surprised me that we start a topic on a real serious question dealing about the fundamental art of QT : is that stealing or paying an hommage to quote from other movies. And we continue the topic into the same issue : Spike Lee is a bastard, blabla, while it’s not the point of this topic.
I know you love Spike Lee, I also do a lot (not only cause we share the same birthday ;D), especially Do The Right Thing. But everytime I hear this name on this forum, it’s like blind fans yelling at him cause he had some arguments with QT, so we have to dislike him too… You know what I mean ?
