Yes it rules. It rules because of my birthday. Also that thing that makes the earth warm a couple months a year.

Haha no reply. I am the Winner.

My daughter and I were both born in August. My mom, and two grandmothers, and my grandpap too, plus two aunts and an uncle. August rules.

very nice and entertaining review about a film I had never heard about, but definitely want to check out now.

Got I should start watching movies instead of putting them on a “to watch” list…

I don’t know why but in France we have to translate the titles of those kind of films and put the word sherif in it. This one was translated “run after me, sherif”. And I just looked up Dukes of hazard, it’s “Sherif, Scare me”, the sequels of Smokey and the Bandit also have the word Sherif in the french title…that’s kinda weird and reductive for americans I think xD

i love those translations… they were great. from the 50s to the 70s, distributors came up with some really wacky ideas. titles were differents from a country to another, posters were different too. i should really post the cover of my videotape of Smokey and the bandit. it looks wayyyyy cooler than the DVD 8)

(but I don’t know how to post a pic… anyone?)
