Ok so he may not be the absolute best film maker in Britain, but i love this guys work; i’ve seen “A room for Romeo Brass”, “Once upon a time in the midlands” and most recently “Dead Man’s Shoes”. I bought the dvd and have watched it 4 times in the last fortnight. It’s just a fantastic, darkly beautiful revenge movie, with Paddy Considine putting in a performance that i’ve seen a few critics compare to De Niro in Taxi Driver.
Are there any Meadows fans out there? or does anyone love this movie as much as me?
