Science Fiction Movies

Holy crap! i forgot about that! :o

The rest of the movie pissed me off. It was higly innacurate and I dont really like the actors in it.

I think i just have low standards for sci fi

well it is inaccurate that is sci fi for you. I like sci fi movies. Most use tired formalas but reivent them. I think alien is a tad bit overated but I like it. The problem is there is a different degree of sci fi but I like all movie as long as there not chick flicks or road house.

Why, what do aliens usually do when they invade earth?

Forced mating I assume.

wrong…

Has anyone here seen Happy Accidents? Its a romantic/sci fi movie. Its low budget like a mother fucker. I liked it.

As familiar as I am with the popular sci-fi films of late and the mostly unfortunate recent movies, I tend to have a heavy appreciation with sci-fi/horror movies, even if they are set in the future with flying cars and goofy advanced customs. This is mostly due to the fact that I was raised watching Critters 1 & 2 as a child, so watching aliens coming down to Earth on for an Earthling buffet brings a grin to my face. I actually found some obscure sci-fi/horror films that I thought were REALLY enjoyable:

Xtro (it gets pretty weird, but still enjoyable)

The Deadly Spawn (deliciously good!)

Contamination (okay, maybe not all of these are obscure)

Still, the sci-fi genre seems to prove thatoverall quality is plummeting in our time, just like recent, main stream horror films.

My impression of one of those people who enjoy shit sci-fi films…

[clears throat]
