Samurai and yakuza films QT's fav.s?

#1

Both within Kill Bill and outside Kill Bill what are QT’s favourite samurai and yakuza films? Films aside from ones I’m allready aware of like Ladysnowblood and the Lone Wolf and Cub series. Anyone know? Can anyone help?

The line between the two can sometimes be blurry, depending on what you consider the criteria to be :-</E>

not really, samurai films, also known as chambara cover films from the samurai period, edo period, etc, Yakuza films are modern day films about Japanese crime, samurai films that contain yakuza, i consider to still be chambara (which really dont mean samurai films, but more accurately period films)
