Playlist (via Production Weekly) report that 20th Century Fox have offered Robert Rodriguez the director’s chair for their Marvel film Deadpool. What do you guys think?

Rodriguez is not the guy for this. What’s he gonna do? Have Danny Trejo throw knives and have Deadpool play the guitar like a Mexican Charro…?

I remember reading ‘Deadpool’. It would be great to have someone do a Marvel film who could do the character justice. I’d pay to see it, if he directed it.
