“Rebuild of Evangelion” will consist of four movies. The first three movies will be an alternate retelling of the TV series (including many new scenes, settings, backgrounds, characters), and the fourth movie will be a completely new conclusion to the story… basically its shinier now… anyway despite the reasons given for doing this ( originality? ) i still want to see this…



the first one should be released in japan this summer i dont know about the International release date though…

Wow, Evangelion, but this time with an actual budget. :stuck_out_tongue: Looks cool. Plus, Rebuild of Evangelion is a wicked name.

Rebuild of Evangelion began its theatrical run apparently, with reviews from fans being generally positive. It is currently rated 4/5 on Yahoo! Movies Japan as reviews begin to pour in:

Shall be intressting to see this but if feels kinda wierd, why remake an whole anime that is already awsome?

I haven’t seen the series. But I have seen this new film. Twice. It’s that good.
