ok, Fatale, it’s the opinion of others, NOT you; but you pointed out that they were asian for a reason… or would it have been the same to say: “I’ve got lots of African friends and they thought the martial arts takes were laughable”? I don’t think so.
No need to take everything so personally anyway… we all are victims of some stereotype sometimes (like: all asians know about martial arts), but realising and going “oops!” is all it takes.
I am not dragging this up again.

I’m living in Italy and normally i write on the nocturnoforum (www.nocturno.it), which is one of the best italian forums for italian genre flicks and bmovies.
In the same forum writes Luca Rea, who is the guy who made the Italian B movie retrospective this year in Venice.
He is since then good friends with QT and he said to us that the next movie will be DEFINITELY “IB”.
QT wants to let circulate this rumors, simply because he likes to create a little bit of confusion about his next movie. :
I also was at this year’s VeniceFilmFestival and during the first pressconfrence with QT and Barbara Bouchet, he said an possible aka title for “IB” could be “ONCE UPON A TIME IN A NAZI OCCUPIED FRANCE” ;D !!!
This will be his real homage to Sergio Leone and all the Spaghetti Wesern Genre ! 8)
I think this sets the tone a lot …
I have also a photo with QT writing “IB” on a paper notebook (looking like Beatrix writing the Death List ). I will try to post it in the next days.

I saw 90 % of the italian bmovies and QT and Dante were always there with us watching the movies for all the 10 days … graet guys ! Quentin brought his fucked up grindhouseprints of “What have you done to Solange” and “Seven black notes” !!
I met him like for 1 minute at “The Excelsior” Hotel and he signed a book for me, thanking ME at the end !
Seems a nice guy to hang out …
