He’s publicly stated what a fan he is of Maria McKee, formerly of Lone Justice. He’s also has been seen at shows of the unsigned band Pistol Opera in L.A.; I think he might be friends with them?

During kill bill interviews he mentioned that he couldnt live without bob dylan’s blood on the tracks. i was well surprised, but i guess the music he uses in movies is for the movie rather than necessarily reflecting his personal tastes. dylan might be good for the war movie
