QT making reference to his other films

There are countless references to other films and in-jokes in Tarantino films, help me out if I forget any (I really should write them dow):

  • RD= There is an orange balloon following Nice Guy Eddie’s car which, some say is a hint as to who is the undercover cop.
  • RD & PF= In the warehouse there are two pre-written notices to an unkown ‘Tony’ telling him ‘not to park here’ and ‘not to turn the switch on’. Bruce wanted to carry this on in Pulp Fiction. When he is running to the pawan shop there is an unseeable one frame shot of graffitti paint proclaiming one of these statements- I bet you can’t see it though.
  • RD & PF= Mr Pink and Butch shout Sally! Sally! (You can tell from the white writing that flashes at the bottom of the screen on the DVD) Mr Pink: running from the cops, Butch: Running to the pawn shop.
  • FR= Through the window in The Man From Hollywood the Jack Rabbit Slim’s sign is noticeable.
  • PF= Numerous references to Grace Lovelace, including the chopper and it actually she who is shot by Marcellus. Not a very sexy intake of a bullet in my opinion!



    I’m not going to cary on now, it won’t help my OCD.



    I will end on the question: Who is the man right at the end credits in the Kill Bill Vol.2 after the Uma blooper? You have to be quick to catch it!

Do you mean who talks at the end of the blooper? If so then it was Quentin who laughs and says “cut”. If you mean who was onscreen, it was that member of the Crazy 88 getting his eye plucked out.



If not then I don’t know.

You have to have it on extreme slow motion. You see it on-screen. It could be the guy that got his eye plucked out but i’m not convinced- it is like he is sat on a bench, it’s a long-shot and it’s only on the left-hand-side of the screen, kind of like when they try and see more of the picture of the lighthouse in The Ring (Remake). Just watch it again on step and you will know what I mean- hopefully you can help me out! ???
