"Project Grizzly" - One of Tarantino's favorite documentaries?

Just surfing the YouTube-database, and found this:

It’s a little scene from The Charlie Rose Show, where Tarantino and others have discussed the movie highlights of 1996. Quentin is obviously crazy about this Canadian film “Project Grizzly”. Never heard of it, but I know the kind of similar Simpsons episode. Now - what I want to know, is there anybody out there, who knows this particular show and can tell me, what other movies were discussed. Thanks anyway.

lol…william cutting fresh meat

I never saw this one. QT showed some documentaries about animals at QT6.

The last animal doc I saw was Grizzly Man. That guy was a nut!

It’s out on dvd since last year. They tried to set “Project Grizzly” in the waves Werner Herzog’s “Grizzly Man”-DVD made.

I’d die to see “Blue Water, White Death”. But there is no official dvd or tape …

Project Grizzly isn’t as good IMO as Grizzly Man. It’s not as complete a story. But it is a fascinating portrait of this Canadian nut who’s trying to build a suit that will let him fight a grizzly.
