I dont think he should rush to have it open at Cannes. I guess if he wanted to win the Palm D’Or its another thing. Hopefully Bastards will be in the Oscar race tho.
I don’t think he wants to finish it to win the Palme D’Or, he has very special relationship with the fest and I guess he must feel more confident to introduce the film at this place for the first time and not somewhere else, just like for Death Proof.
Yeah I think thats true too. But Im sure if he feels this is his best script since Pulp thats gotta play into it somewhere.

I havent seen the 1977 Bastards yet, but all I was thinking about while watching those scenes was QT better make a damn good film to up the ante on Castellari’s film. I think even he knows he has to deliver big time to make Enzo proud!

Yeah I haven’t seen it either, so I really need to check it out. It’s weird how all the other countries(Uk, Germany, and Sweden)came out with it first and now we’re finally getting a release, i’m so happy ;D
I’m counting down the days until I purchase this movie.
