I always had the feeling that Jules would come back to the life of a hitman, eventually.
Yes, he was grateful for the fact that he didn’t get shot, and in the car he forbid Vincent to blaspheme.
But in the restaurant, Jules himself was back at it again with the full-throttle blaspheming.
So I think his wish to wander the world will only last temporarily…
