I don’t think it’s a great who did it movie. I my opinion a good who did it movie should have some clues to the real answer. I mean any one can create a cheap twist by only showing all the evidence at the end. a good solid who did it story shouldn’t be afraid to throw in some clues before the twist(a good example oldboy) oldboy has a satisfying twist, the usual suspects has a twist but not a satisfying one.
a twist should be unpredictable and hit you like a bucket of water in the face, the usual suspects does this, I don’t want clues cause then I might figure it out by myself and I don’t want that (ex. Taking Lives), it would ruin the entire ending, hence movie

I agree with you. Usually that happens when you get clues, you figure it all out and the movie sucks from that point. I´d rather be surprised.
Just to name a few:
The Godfather (it’s just ok)
Amélie (pretty entertaining at first but then the shooting style gets annoying)
Chinatown
Alien
Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead & Day of the Dead (all of 'em boring as hell)
Raging Bull
The Incredibles (easily the worst Pixar movie)
Jaws
Crash (ok, but would’ve been better with a more subtle approach)
Annie Hall (pretentious Check-me-out-I’m-smart-dialogue)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (doesn’t make sense, Spielberg + good plot = should be great but it’s not)
Seven Samurai
The Graduate
Marx movies (joke joke joke = blah blah blah)
Dog Day Afternoon
Walk the Line (ok, good performances but overall pretty standard biopic)
Scarface (Pacino’s worst performance)

Roayl Tenenbaums & Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Mulholland Drive
Dogville
Lord of the Rings (only seen the first one, that was enough)
Adaptation
Sunset Boulevard
Halloween
Wild Bunch

I’m serious as a heart attack. Annoying style, kinda like Jim Jarmusch meets Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Jarmusch is the only good of these three.

You better run and hide, little man!!
Mullholland Drive is a steaming pile of shit. :-X
I agree with jack on alot of them.
How about this one.
Fisful of Dollars
I love the other two but this one leaves me empty.
Mulholland Drive rules, it’s amazing actually, not my Lynch favourite but still… One of the weirdest cinematic eperiences.
And I agree with Fistful of Dollars, I found it rather boring. But that’s me, I can’t fal in love with westerns, I liked The Good, The Bad and The Ugly but - just liked.

But that’s me

guess so
Yeah.
Also I think Chinatown is overrated. I can only remember the scene where Nicholson gets his nose cut by Polanski and the car scene at the end.
maybe you should try n rewatch those movies, from a diffrent POV or so, especially GBU, which is in my eyes still the very best film ever made, never seen anything better
I instantly fell in love with westerns after my first one, they’re my fairytales
Word.
I love westerns like no others. I think GBU was the first film I ever saw, it was definitely the first film I remember watching anyway because my dad used to be a western-fan. GBU wipes the floor with most films out there, and then leaves them for dead (and no it doesn’t come back to offer a lifeline, the western shows no mercy).
When watching Fistful, try to think what it woul dhave been like had you watched it when it first came out. Fistful lead the way for the much cooler westerns to be made. Leone owns your souls.
