lol. “The Lonely Grave of Pauly Shore.” That would have been funny.

Lonely Grave of Paula Schultz
thank you
it doesnt have to be a seperate chapter. The Lonely Grave of Paula Shore wasnt ONLY about the grave. it was about budd at work as well.
it prob was cut coz it didnt fit story wise. like compared to the other chapters pai mei wasnt just an out of synch chapter of the story, it was more like a flash back. brides in the grave and she remembers her training and uses it to get out. so if shes remembering training to get out she doesnt really need to remember the peripheral shit like bill getting in a fight that day
Is this the Damoe scene which was deleted? I am glad it was as the actor was as wooden as a post. “You killed my master and now I’m gonna kill you”

My main beef with it though is not the scene itself it’s the fact that there is no introduction or commentary. When was the scene suppose to take place in the context of the film? What was the origin of it? Questions like that.
When Quentin was on Jimmy Kimmel, he said that the scene was shot just as an excuse to use a certain lot in Bejing that he liked. To me he sounded as if he knew he wasn’t going to leave it in the film.

that was kind of the point. it was supposed to be another cheesy moment. with jai white acting out the bad new zealand
Many of the scenes in Kill Bill were meant to be cheesy but they were still acted well
but the bad acting was part of the cheese in this scene
: The bad acting was nothing to do with the cheese.
I found the scene hilarious.
Once I saw the dramatic zoom in with the music, I knew it was gonna be funny.
The fighting was cool.
It just didnt fit anywhere.
I loved the scene, mostly because it was just like 70’s kung-fu flicks with the sound of the camera zooming and all of the cheesey (sp?) dialogue, but where does it fit in. Im sure that has been answered already but i dont feel like reading through the past pages.
Sorry for any inconvienince.
"where does it fit in."
It doesnt
I watched the scene expecting it to be shit, but it was ok. The only thing I didn’t like about the scene was when Bill tells Beatrix to stand to one side, the way he said it, just made me cringe. The rest of the scene was cool, especially when M J White drops Bill’s button thing and it falls to the floor making a really loud sond and the dust just flying away because of it and then how it shows Bill straight after, it was very stylish.
I thought it was halarious! It was funny as hell. But I would have been pissed off if I saw it in the film. It didn’t fit into anything, plus White’s acting was horrible! He couldn’t even do a simple point to himself when he’s saying that Bill killed his master - his hand covers his face…pfff…real professional…
I dunno. again, funny to watch, but a really bad move if Q put it in the movie.

I agree it was funny, and I’m glad he put it out. I don’t think White’s acting was horrible, but the “black tone” of his voice mad the whole scene a bit ridicolous for me.
And his hand is supposed to meet his nose, you haven’t seen many asian films, have you?
Can anybody tell me if this answer of Carradine is true?
Q: Still, there are some major fight scenes you did for this film that are missing from the final cut.
DC: Well, I think you’ll see them on the DVD. I’m not sure, but you might even see them in the Japanese version. It’s possible.
In the Kill Bill 2 DVD I saw that deleted scene, where bill kills some kind of black guy and four chinese fighters. That scene was funny! Well, I guess that it was not very Kill Bill style, but it was the only place where Bill was fighting someone. I don’t know. Tell me if you do.
im glad he did, it was not very good.
i guess only Tarantino knows.
Yep, I agree that was not a good scene for the movie, but you’ve got to admit that it was funny. Maybe he just made it to fans, to have something to see after watching the whole movie.
that scene was fantastic, we see a bride still not well trained, it seems that she sees for the first time Bill fighting or killing someone, and the fotography is fantastic.
why a scene so great and also so small (it takes few minutes) hasn’t been put in the movie…??
