Layer Cake

#1

Anyone who’s looked for the next best things in the genre of british crime then they’ve obviously seen this and love it as much as I do.

The plot is so twisted and complex, there’s alot going on and I never realized it until the ending, which kinda sucked and brought my opinion of the film down a bit.

But there’s one kickass (literally) scene set to Ordinary World by Duran Duran.

Anyone had a slice?

Well he was presenting the idea to Sony (I think it was Sony) and he kept going back to discuss it with them. Guy Ritchie was set to direct, but then he changed his mind during a later stage and opted to direct Revolver. Well on a susequent meeting with Sony bosses, they asked him now that Ritchie had dropped out, who was going to direct?. The only thing he could say was “I’ll direct” and they accepted.
