You must be joking. Children of Men & Serenity both make A.I. look like catshit

in the realm of contemporary Science-fiction films .

I didn’t know Sci-Fi existed anymore. -sarcasm, kind of.

Children of Men fucking rocks. The flick is absolutely one of the best sci-fi films of the past ten years.

It does seem to be something of an endangered species among film genres, as of late.

Which is most unfortunate. It’s one of the few genres where you are quite nearly

unbound by traditional constraints in storytelling. The only real limit is the

writer &/or director’s imagination.

I liked Serenity when it came out, but Whedon is a television writer and it shows on the second viewing. It’s not a very subtle film.

[/quote]Children of Men is a good film, but its emotional impact is held back by Clive Owen’s stoic acting. I haven’t seen Serenity yet
