this petition is such a let down.
it’s disgusting that tarantino fans long for sequels. that’s so anti-cinema, it makes me sick.
i want inglorious bastards, i want grindhouse, i want 40 lashes, i want everything EXCEPT a fricking sequel

Your so full of yourself you almost remind me of Quentin Tarantino himself.
If an idea is great and if Quentin has the genius to create things that are connected to Kill Bill then why not express that.

How is the idea great? Sequels almost always suck arse. We don’t want any more Kill Bill shit now for another 15 years, if that. QT said he will come back to it in 15 years. I think we should just forget it and concentrate on more important stuff like Grind House and Inglorious Bastards.
Yeah let it die. These Vol. 3 shit rumors will eventually fade away by next year when fanboys will start asking for Grind House 2 anyway.
NO WAY NARK! Volume 3!, volume 3!

Don’t forget the badly dubbed kung-fu project!
Sequels can be good. ‘A Shot In The Dark’, ‘The Bride of Frankenstien’, ‘Dracula Prince of Darkness’ and ‘The Godfather Part Two’ are a few examples. So to say “sequels suck arse” is a recieved opinion. I’d rather Kill Bill Vol 3 the way he intends to make it, in fifteen years time when the two actresses who played the parts of Vivica A. Fox’s and Uma Thurman’s daughters are old enough for the project. If it gets made. However I don’t want no part in this online petition. Not all of Tarantino’s ideas will come to fruitition. Think of ‘The Vega Brothers’.

I said “Sequels almost always suck arse.” Which means I acknowledge the few sequels that are indeed brilliant if not better than the original. Please don’t twist what I say.
The online petition is fucking stupid anyway. It’s not like Tarantino has said he definitely didn’t want to do another film in the Kill Bill series.
Also, what makes us so sure the little girls would WANT to take part in the next Kill Bill film anyway?

That insult was uncalled for. Please take your rude behaviour elsewhere, it’s not tolerated here, especially not against one of the veteran members!! >:(
I’m a veteran member…I think.
Well then you should know better. No wait…
I have never heard of an online petition that has succeeded in changing whatever it was set up to change. Ever. Ok?
Second, I’d like to state the case for a sequel. Granted. the first two films very neatly told the story, and a third film would very likely detract from the overall story if it were not done well, but I think QT has left the door open for a sequel if he ever wanted to, or could, make one. Which implies that he at least has already decided the general plot of a sequel to the KB saga. If this is the case, a Vol. 3 won’t be a tacked-on addendum to the story as we have come to expect from sequels, but instead it will be an integral part of a story that simply hasn’t as yet been entirely told.
There were some things that made me suspect QT is at least leaving the door open for a sequel.
The first and most obvious was the scene in Vol 1 with Vernita’s daughter Nikki. Bea makes it quite clear that if a reckoning should occur someday, she’ll be ready for it. For this to eventually occur when Nikki is old enough to seek her satisfaction would be completely in keeping with the revenge-film tradition. For example Lady Snowblood. And, consider how differently the story would have been colored, morally, if Bea had gone ahead and killed Nikki in Vol. 1, “even stevens”. And then how she would have felt later when she found out that her daughter was in fact still alive in Vol. 2…
Next, the business with Elle and Pai Mei. Some people here have wondered whether Elle dies in the desert or not in terms of coming back in a sequel. But perhaps Pai Mei isn’t necessarily dead either. After all, I expect you don’t live 1000 years without learning a few tricks or realizing that someone whose eye you just pulled out might not try and poison your fish-heads or something. The Chinese are wise in many things…
…and this kind of leads on to #3, which could be the real meat of any “surprise” to be had in a sequel. That Bill isn’t really dead either. And little did quick-draw Kiddo know that Pai Mei in fact taught Bill an escape from the five-point-palm-exploding-heart technique and when he fell down as dead, he was actually “playing possum”!! The way Vol. 2 ends off makes it sound like Pai Mei taught Bea the FPPEHT because he somehow knew she was a good person. But let’s remember, kids, that Pai Mei is no angel either. E.g. the story about the monk who didn’t return the nod. In terms of reacting (or over-reacting), he’s more akin to Bill than to Bea, even more so if you take into account other legends/stories about Pai Mei. If you had to choose a perfect student for Pai Mei, Bill would be it - for the exactsame reason that made Hattori Hanzo swear his oath and subsequently break it. His amorality and her intransigent sense of justice.
Bill is to Hannibal Lecter what Bea is to Clarice Starling.
Could there be a sequel and it be as good as, or even better than, the originals? Absolutely. Is this likely? No, if only because QT probably won’t ever get around to it at least for the next decade because he will be so busy making new works of superlative entertainment.

While I think Vol. 3 would be a bad idea, I don’t understand what defines a fanboy, especially coming from someone with a Batman avatar
Vol. 2 ended so perfectly, it went full circle, the only characters who’s fate was up in the air, was Elle Driver and Sofie Fatale, but the movie was about Beatrix Kiddo. She had her happy ending with B.B, and Beatrix is the character we all came to care about.
Vol. 3 would be pretty pointless in my opinion, but I suppose it could be like the Dollars trilogy. Only this one would be “The Good, The Blind & The Limbless”
No… it still wouldn’t work

The Batman comment is so hilarious I don’t feel the need to post a funny response. Only 'cause of the fact that I’m no joker. (got it? got it?! hahaha!).
