I’ve had a couple of those instances. One time I was walking home from school in the hot weather, sweating like a motherfucker and barely conscious, and I thought of the scene in V2 when Uma’s walking in the hot desert heat as “Sunny Road to Salina” plays as she goes to get her revenge on Elle and Budd. Another time recently I was up real late in the morning at my house and crouching down besides the door ninja style a la Uma underneath Budd’s trailer, as not to wake my parents when I went into the computer room. I just moved into a new house with 2 stories and the stairs are aligned the same way as Bill’s in his Villa, so when I walk slowly down the steps it reminds me of Beatrix walking down to face Bill in their final moments together.
Will anybody else admit to any of this?
Last week, I went to go get some pizza and as soon as I walk through the door, I see this guy I haven’t seen in about 6 years since we were in elementary school working behind the counter and I automatically start hearing the ironside theme in my head cause we got into a fight when we were probably 12. I just froze.
I have to admit I have those moments where I refer myself or the situation to Kill Bill scenes or characters quite often. For instance when I practice with my katana (Iaido) I think of and see the images in Kill Bill all the time, I absolutely love the fighting scenes and the Hattori Hanzo sword in general.
When I go to my dojo and walk with my katana strapped on my back on the streets I swear I can just hear the “Battle Without Honor Or Humanity”" theme.
Also last week someone I know was buried and I couldn’t help thinking of “Paula Schultz” and read the lines to myself in my mind when the coffin was lowered into the freshly dug hole in the ground.
Yes I’m pretty far gone.

It is in a special bag, that makes all the difference because nobody can know what I am carrying with me. So it’s legal, as long as it is properly sheathed and properly covered. I can understand your confusion, I made it sound like I was carrying it on my back so that I could start hacking away whenever I want to. My bad…
