It’s ironic you thought QT would make a good Pai Mei, because when he wrote the script what he wanted to do was have the Bride and Pai Mei always talking in Mandarin and then dub them over badly with his voice for Pai Mei and someone else for the Bride. I have no clue why he didn’t - that would’ve been fucking halarious.

Walken may be an obvious choice, but he would’ve played that role to motherfucking perfection, and he needs to be in some good movies again.
Well I’m going to say a couple of names right now, but please nobody jump to a “hell no” phase, remember QT can make anybody a great performer again.
Bill- I believe three other actors also would have done great and they are Christopher Lambert, Kevin Costner, and Steven Seagal.

Hmm… It would be cool to see Judy Garland (old school) play the bride. She’s not blonde but it would be cool to see how she would interpret the role.
Ooh, what about Queen Latifah as Copperhead? I think QT could whip her into shape to do those fight scenes. Ooh, Angela Basset. drooooool
Renee Zwelelkelegger could probably pull off Elle. With the patch covering her creepy smirk, she could do alright. Ooh, Nicole Kidman seems hateful enough, and she’s tall enough to do scenes with Uma. It would also be cool to see Isabella Rossallini in this role.
I believe Uma made the Bride one of the best QT characters ever. But this post is dedicated to recasting, so here’s who I think would have done an equally great job if they were given a shot.
The Bride- Ashley Judd. (That’s IT!)
I believe A.J. would have been awesome as the Bride and it doesn’t hurt the matter that she is one fine piece of ass like Uma.
Tomorrow I will be recasting Budd, Elle, Oren, and Vernita. 'Till then.
Budd- Well I said that Christopher Lambert, Kevin Costner, and Steven Seagal would have been good for Bill. For Budd I think Tim Roth, Steve Buscemi, and George Clooney would have been hella sweet.
Elle- Nicole Kidman!!! Well she was sweet and hella hot in ‘To Die For’, so it would be hella cool to see her in this role as the ultimate bitch.
Vernita- I believe a good Ms. Green would have been played by either Vanessa L. Williams or Angela Bassett.
Oren- Lucy was hella bad ass so you really have to pick carefully but I believe Kelly Hu would have been great to see on the screen. Also if QT wasn’t oppose to change her background Catherine Zeta-Jones also would not have been a terrible choice. Plus she’s the ultimate MILF.
