there is no news. where did you get “this Winter” ?!?

It would be damn sweet but I dont believe it - since the hype is over for a long time now.

that stuff is rumored for years… i doubt anyone can pull of a sensible came on basis of these movies

Neither one of these games is ever gonna get made, there’ve been rumors for two years now, but no actual news since 2003. Either they’ve been put on a far back-burner, or they just won’t become realities. I’m personally only interested in Half-Life 2 for the xbox right now.

classic sig

Yeah, I no its great!

Actually, my friend and I spoke of this at work months ago, during a lull at work (hey, UPS isn’t always as busy as you think it is )

Here’s how we saw it:

It’d start off as the movie would, with “The Bride” going against the rest, but in chronological order. (chronological? for a Tarantino-based game? huh?) She’d have her basic (!) fighting moves, but she can have special moves (that “breakdance” slice move, the Five-Point-Palm exploding heart technique, the eyepluck, etc.) and fight her way to the end.

But…

After you beat the game, it’d start off with a new plot, and add to the replay value: O-ren’s revenge. O-ren gets vengence on the DiVAS (maybe she found out it was Bill that killed her father??), and so you can play as her. Her special moves are calling forth Johnny Mo, or calling out GoGo. (upon calling up either one, you have access to them for up to 1 minute, to do as much damage as possible). After beating the game with O-ren, you now have unlocked a new feature in the game: multiplayer. You can play as the Bride, O-ren, Johnny Mo, or GoGo.

Then you unlock Vernita’s story, then Budd’s, then Elle’s (her story has her ignoring Bill’s request, and she poisons the Bride in her sleep anyway, so the gang gets vengence that way. True, the Bride is out of the way, but now you have the DiVAS younger and faster…)

But wait, there’s more: After you beat it with her, you then unlock two more tales: Hattori Hanzo’s revenge, and Pai Mei’s fury. 'Nuff said.

Sound good to any of you folks?

I think it would make more sense if they did it like the Warriors game. Where most of it happened before the movie and the movie was just the end. That way you could pick your assassin and do hit missions. In the process you would learn the workings of the gang and why they hate each other.

You want to play some GREAT videogames? Buy a Nintendo GameCube and buy Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil : Code Veronica (my fave) and Resident Evil 4 (close to perfection, but what happened to the puzzles?)

Nintendo Gamecube must be one of the worst consoles ever. Nintendo was great back then with the NES and Super NES. But they just couldn’t live up to the Playstation. No console can.

I ordered Code Veronica a couple days ago for my… dreamcast.

I only played Resident Evil 2 & 3 on my Playstation and they were bloody awesome. The Nemesis dude was a real pain in the ass though, not to mention he repeated the same word over and over - “Staaaaaaarssss!!!”. What a fucker.

I’m not that excited for a QT movie turned into a videogame, but if there should be one, it should definitely be for Kill Bill.

I still have my original nintendo from 1986! I have several of the games too: Castlevania, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, Super Mario Brothers, Duck Hunt, and Spy Hunter. The spy hunter game is really cool if you can stay alive long enough to get the music going really fast and psychadelic.

I had one too, but my mum sold it like 10 years ago… Now I want one again. Duck Hunt is awesome! 8)

try ebay, you can probably find one with a whole lotta games for 20 Euro if you look around

I don’t buy stuff off of eBay, but they have a lot of them at marktplaats.nl too. And I’m always saying I’m gonna buy one, but for some reason I never do…
