So we dont even know whats going on either? Damn, I thought we were confirmed on these things.
If Waltz is Landa, that would make more sense since hes older.
So Bruhl must be playing Zoller.

uh well I guess with all these rumors floating around there’s some confusion… this whole Bruel + Landa thing always sounded kinda wobbly to me…
let’s just wait and see. maybe I hear something that can sort out the confusion 
Alright. It makes sense that we assumed that Bruhl was playing Landa, but he could’ve been referring to anybody. He says that he plays an ‘evil nazi’, well, there are plenty of nazis in Inglorious Bastards, but the major ones (excluding Hitler and Goebbels) are Landa, Zoller and Hellstorm and personally, I’m gonna agree with you guys and say that it’s most likely Zoller, because he seems to carry that younger look and I’ll admit that I was a bit surprised when I first read that he was gonna play Landa and I think Waltz looks more like that evil nazi type character.
Never seen anything with Waltz. It would be a more classic choice for the part than Bruhl but interesting too. Guess everyone will have to wait till october 13th -date on which the shooting is supposed to start- to have sure information.

u know, i wanna see someone more famous playing that super evil bad guy, it wud be much more interesting 
well most German TV watchers will know him. That’s famous ;D
is not famous in a global sense though, and quentin said that he makes movies for the world 
Quentin luckily is in a position where he doesn’t have to cast the people who are famous, but the ones that are right for the part. (See Robert Forster, Michael Parks, etc.)
QT always says he makes movies for international audiences too. So if hes making a film in Germany its understandable that hes going to cast some of their popular actors.
On the latest news link the reporter actually wrote “Til Schweiger will be playing Lt. Aldo Raine”. How did he get THAT wrong? They must not follow the movie news very closely.

I don’t think anyone knows what is going on as far as casting. It’s all speculation and changes every five minutes. Kinski is in then she’s out. Scheiwger is in then he’s out then he’s in again. I think QT is just jerking around the press and his fanboys. ???
October is getting closer. We’ll know a lot more for a lot more certain soon I’d say…
I hope we’ll learn something about the locations (I mean no just rumours) because I’m determined to visit Germany but my friends want to know the exact place before they agree to come with me. And they say that “wherever Tarantino shoots” is not an answer!
well Babelsberg Film studios is a sure bet, but I don’t think anyone can just walk in there

Wow, that is incredibly good news. I absolutely love Robert Richardson’s work. Although I would have liked Roger Deakins, they’re as good as each other. At least we don’t need to worry about the visuals now.
