I’ve been a big fan of his since watching The Ref for the first time and have since loved his standup comedy, movies, his TV show The Job and his current TV show Rescue Me. So when I heard that he was going to be here in Chicago I had to go meet him. He was signing copies of his new book Why We Suck… haha… so one of my friends and I went and he drove and took his girlfriend and two year old twin boys with as well and Denis took the time to sign our books and even signed my Rescue Me book and he shook our hands and took pics with us. It was an awesome experience. I also got to meet Bret “Hitman” Hart (the pro wrestler) at a book signing a couple months ago so it’s been really awesome meeting some of my favorite celebrities the past couple of months.

Yeah, I’ve heard that he comes off as a pretty cool dude as long as you don’t bring up Autism, the common sense behind the end of Tower 7 and his career before Rescue Me.
