HVX200 HD Camera

#1

I’ve been toying with the idea of shooting a little flick. Like a digital French New Wave picture. So I’ve been looking at camera and formats and came across this.

A few short films on You Tube claim to be shot on this camera using some sort of adaptor to get the depth perception you’d see in your typical 35mm. Been going through 'em and while the majority are similar and shit the look of the B+W is kinda cool. What do you think?

The second video seems to flow better with the camera, but if you say they are the same camera, can’t say anything about it.

That’s cool about filming a French New Wave picture, I have been thinking about something like that for a while too.

I dunno. It could be just youtube, but it just doesn’t feel like either of them were “filmed” to me. I tried to see it, but if I were you, I wouldn’t go for it if you’re looking to enter it into comps.

Plus after watching them all the way, I liked the second one.
