Hell ride

wow totally different reviews…

Yeah talk about diff sides of a coin. I dont know what to think now. The first one made it sound like it was a kickass modern biker flick. The second, like a turd in a punch bowl. I love biker flicks, so this one will have to be pretty damn bad for me to not like it.

If this movie sucks I’m gonna get pissed beyond belief. It would be yet another shitfest with Tarantino’s name attached to it.

Haha, that reviewer has a point though. Tarantino’s name is getting more over-used than a hooker at a cocaine party.

I guess if he produces something, its gonna say: QT Presents. As far as his name being on DVD boxes etc. In a way thats a good thing because theres a ton of films that wouldve never been released if he hadnt supported them.

I just hope not every film he produces is some kung fu, extreme gore or low budget action film. It would be nice to see his name presenting other kinds of films too.

Im not even a fan of the Hostel flicks. I like some of the martial arts ones, but thats about it.

I believe that those of us who know what to expect won’t be as dissapointed at that one guy with the negative review. If you (like me) expect just a grindhouse-ish biker film hommage with loud bikes and hot chicks, then this might be an enjoyable flick. if you expect an a-grade hollywood film with high class character development, you’ll probably demand your money back.

just like Rambo, if you’re out to see a gory action flick, you’ll cream your pants. if you want something like Paths of Glory, you better stay home

Exactly. Its all about putting it in context. Larrys been in a bunch of biker flicks, so if he doesnt know how to make a good one, noone does.

Indeedy. I’m sitll skeptical as to hwo this can be bad. Micahel Mdsen is in it, Vinnie Jones, Dennis Hopper…

Arrow - JoBlo

they say august 8. damn that’s a long time…

well…

Man, probably won’t even get in UK. When is it due on DVD?

no idea. I swear the minute I find out, it’s a news item… I really wanna see this one soon

Same with me.

why don’t they just do a narrow release in LA, NY, and then see what happens. Start a cheap internet-based campaign and then once it’s out of the theaters, deliver the DVD with a similar campaign a month later. The movie was probably not that expensive anyway…

Probably would have something to do with the fact that the execs in Hollywood are all up their own arses? Fucking pretentious bastards. They think they can read minds and see the future, and know what people really want to see.

we’ve updated The Archives Hell Ride page with pictures and lots more
