cool! where did you get that from?
btw, I’ve already set it up here:
<LINK_TEXT text=“http://www.tarantino.info/wiki/index.ph … soundtrack”>http://www.tarantino.info/wiki/index.php/Hell_Ride_soundtrack</LINK_TEXT>
complete with some links and all that. I wonder what’s taking them so long to release this on CD
Had a chance to see the flick and got the info from the end credits. Enjoy.
Seb: That soundtrack sounds awesome! I thought it was gonna be a bunch of modern songs. Its even got some Kill Bill & classic biker film tracks in there.
I def want to get this!
yeah I listed to a few tracks I found online, and they are fucking awesome. I am so definitely gonna put this into my minuscule CD collection… what a great-sounding soundtrack. I hope all these tracks will be on the CD though
shit i just realized that while the regular dvd has already shipped, the steelbook (which is supposed to be 2 discs) won’t be in stock till the 10th of next month. motherfucker…
A change and an addition should be made to the soundtrack listing.
First Victorville Blues is from “The Hard Ride” soundtrack
Secondly “Mudpies And Gasoline” is sung by Patricia Vonne not Venne. Her song “Traeme Paz” was featured on the Once Upon A Time In Mexico soundtrack.
So I’ve managed to get my hands on the following tracks. If anyone’s interested send me a PM.
Victorville Blues - Sounds Of Harley Feat. Davie Allan From The Hard Ride
The Wild Angels Ballad (Dirge) - Davie Allan And The Arrows From The Wild Angels
Jenny Take A Ride - Mitch Ryder And The Detroit Wheels
Blacklisted - Neko Case
Hell’s Belles - Les Baxter And Lenny Adelson From Hell’s Belles
Travelin’ Man - Les Baxter And Lenny Adelson From Hell’s Belles
Hogin’ Machine - Les Baxter From Hell’s Belles
The Unknown Rider - Davie Allan And The Arrows From The Wild Angels
Maria’s Theme - Barbara Kelly And The Morning Good From The Savage Seven
Maggot Brain - Funkadelic
Alacran Y Pistolero - Chingon
The Unconcious Power - Iron Butterfly
Hot Wind - Les Baxter From Hell’s Belles
Indian Run - Spindrift
Mudpies And Gasoline - Patricia Vonne
The Long Hell Ride - Sounds Of Harley Feat. Davie Allan
I’m still looking for the following. If anyone can help me out it would be appreciated. (I don’t expect the Rodriguez tracks as many of us have been looking for them for years now.)
Bride & BB Hug - Robert Rodriguez From Kill Bill Volume 2
Elle Gets Her Money - Robert Rodriguez From Kill Bill Volume 2
The Devil’s Rumble - The Arrows From The Devil’s Angels
Love And Admiration Of The Brotherhood Society - The Total Sound Explosion Orchestra Feat. Dean Delray
She’s So Far Out She’s In - Dino, Desi And Billy

That would be “The Unconscious Power” by Iron Butterfly. Wicked song.
I didn’t like it. I mean it has style, it is cool but the script makes absolutely no sense. It’s a descent movie but it isn’t something I could watch again.
Okay I have the DVD now. Unfortunately no extras (I paid 30 euros for that shit! damn Swedes!), but i’ll have a review by the end of the day. I’ll also double check the soundtrack credits and update The Archives’ Hell Ride sections where necessary
well I’m done watching it now… I’m still pondering about what I think of it… it was definitely a disappointing/underwhelming experience. it wasn’t as bad as most people said it was.
i’d say it
- is way too short
- could’ve used some script polishing, especially the beginning is a bit confusing
- is over when you think now it’s getting going…
but it also
- has an absolutely great soundtrack
- great visuals
- ultra uber hot women (but not enough i’d say)
i’ll type up some sort of a review in a bit
So Id guess youd say it isnt the classic we were hoping for.
well I knew it wasn’t gonna be a classic. I just hoped I’d be a bit more entertained by it. it certainly had potential… and I still don’t think it’s bad. In fact, I think I’m gonna rewatch it a couple of times, because I like the characters, onedimensional as they are…
in preparation: full-on dvd screenshot bonanza & not-safe-for-work review of hell ride (including hot nude bitches pictures, raunchy quotes…)
