The GBP has decreased in value very quickly. So 13 pounds is 14,66 euro.
1 euro is 89 pence at the moment. Good times visiting GB!

And one Pound is 33 american dollars.   The USD is next to the peso in value now. I'm kidding. But it's not worth half what it was worth 10 years ago.
Haha! I remember stories from my dad, who studied English (literature and poetry) and frequently visited England and Ireland 20-30 years back that he got 1 (!) Pound for every 10 dutch Guilders. Which is ridiculously high. Slowly decreased to about 3,50 Dutch Guilder (about $ 1,50-2,00) until 2002 and now the Euro is soon leaving the GBP behindâŚ
Put that in the ending of a movie and I will cry my eyeballs out!
âŚrandom word of advice for anyone railing around europe - dont get the interrail pass, just buy your tickets individually - I think I paid about 100 Euro over the odds when I did my tripâŚanyway
Back to blubbering at movies. The only one to have me in tears was ET when I was about 5 years old, but I have been close a few times since.
Drunk as hell but I totally just cried at the end of Clerks 2.

I cried during the âwhy canât we be friends?â snapshot collage at the end credits of Lethal Weapon 4. Just because after four films, the characters felt so familiar.
Clerks 2 is a reunion too of characters you were hoping to see again.

I cry at the end of Clerks 2 everytime I see it. Itâs so perfect.
I thought clerks 2 was dreadful, i really like clerks in terms of its low budget charm and whatever but thought 2 was lame. I can see how the issues it sort of addresses are moving but it was so unconvincing i couldnt connect with it.
I cried at the ending of Bruno. It was such a sad movie especially when Brunoâs baby gets taken away from him.

Iâm happy that I donât have your incapability to appreciate awesomeness. O0
Not a movie, but movie-related.
I read a recent article about Spike Jonze and Where the Wild Things Are (in particular, childhood, nostalgia and imagination). I almost cried. I was sitting in this family restaurant though, so Im glad I didn
t actually cry.
That would have been depressing. This guy sitting by himself in a family restaurant crying.
But nostalgia and my childhood is something that always gets me. Being a child was fucking awesome. Cartoons from the 80s and the 90s were fucking awesome. Toys from the 90s were fucking awesome. Clothes from the 90s (flannel, jumpers tied around the waist, back-to-front baseball caps) were fucking awesome.
I just want to go back in time.
I so understand you. Iâm the same. Iâm a very melancholic person, not in the sense Iâm a whining, depressing person (Iâm NO emo !!) but I love that childhood/teenagehood/nostalgia atmosphere. It has this naive, innocent thing that we kinda lose with the years. We could still be amazed about everything, take risks without thinking of the consequences, just do errance, experiment new things.

If youâre Mr Pink as you claim it, you could def be his best friend, cause there again, only Mr Pink has been protecting and loving Bruno here. But nevermind.
There is only one way to know for sure:
- Braveheart Sucks!
- The Gladiator Sucks!
- Books Hooray!
I cry over EVERYTHING!
My most embarassing was when I was younger I took my little cousin to see the Rugrats movie for his birthday and I cried in it twice. The thing I cry over most is animals being hurt or dying. Whether itâs in a book, the newspaper, tv or a movie, I canât help but bawl.
Movies that a guaranteed to make me cry would be Romeo & Juliet, White Oleander, Kill Bill 2 (the end when sheâs on the bathroom floor, makes me sob), SATC movie, plus a tonne more but I canât be bothered thinking. I also think I have emotional problems, I tear up at least three times a week. :-</E>
