Havent they opened a store in Stockholm now as well?
Yup, think they have.
What the fuck is up with play.com? Outside UK residents who try and buy an item from their site in sterling are now getting the error message “Item can only be delivered to a UK address”. So anybody not living in the UK has no choice but to buy dvd in Euros, which means paying more for the item. In other words I’m fucked. >:( These guys were the best, never disappointed me in my life. I guess there’s an end to everything.

I sent them an e-mail to explain themselves. Hope I receive an answer soon.

Could you write here what they said? I would like to know!
Sure, I’ll paste it as soon as they respond.
They sent me this reply yesterday:
Thank you for your email.
Following a recent update to our website we can advise that customers
outside of the UK now need to purchase in Euros.
To purchase in Euros you will need to click on the euro flag below
your shopping basket.
We continue to endeavour to keep play.com as competitive as ever and
we will be reviewing the Euros pricing on the site.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion this change may
have caused.
Kind regards

The key words here are “we will be reviewing the Euro pricing”. From what I’ve seen lately they’re keeping their word cause the difference you have to pay when buying in Euros has become quite minimal. And they’re still far more cheaper than all the other sites, so i guess I’m gonna continue using them after all.
How’s diabolikdvd? Are they brand new or some burnt dvdr rip off?
www.playx.no cheap!!!
I’ve always been a fan of CDNow.com
Yeah I’ll probably just use amazon
And of course, my personal favorite back-up plan:
EBAY.COM!!
I would “Do Ebay” as the commerical says but Im to paranoid Im gonna get a burntdvd copy.
That’s why I buy them brand new on EBay.
Yeah but some people say its brand new when it might not be its just to risky.I rather just buy it at amazon
I honestly think Amazon.com is still the best place to shop
allthough smart customers compare and occasionally pick stores like dvdboxoffice.com or cd-wow.com or something
