Hey there, not exactally new, but I’ve never posted in here before. I’m a girl & I totally love QT’s movies! (how could you not?) Pulp Fiction was the first Tarantino film I saw because my dad had it on Lazer Disk when it first came out, I can’t really remember what I thought of it though cause I was like 6 when I saw it. Then about a year ago I watched Kill Bill and totally fell in love with the movie, and I’ve been obsessed with Tarantino ever since lol ;D

I’m Rachael, i’m 19 and british. I got into Tarantino films about 2 years ago when i was studying Film at school. I had to analyse the ear scene from Reservoir Dogs (basically just talk about Tarantino’s “shocking” use of contrapuntal music- stuck in the middle with you- at a moment of such violence, then followed by a moment of humour) and the film completely enthralled me.
I think a lot of people find it weird i’m such a huge tarantino fan when i’m female… but i was always into violent films, haha, before i saw RD, Goodfellas was my fave film.
It’s not about the violence though, it’s more to fo with the directing style and the narrative stucture… i love how Tarantino uses dialogue and actual “storytelling” to guide his films along, rather than just action… as a writer i can really relate to that.

A few weeks later I saw Pulp Fiction and I loved it! After that I saw the other movies and now I’m here

I’m fourteen But Tarantino’s movies are rated 15 in Sweden…
I’m a big fan of Jim Carrey and I’ve got 18 of his movies…
Other than that I like almost all movies except some Romantic comedies… They get on my nerves

I got into Tarantino movies when I got grounded for smoking pot in my room when I was about 13, I was sitting there pissed that I couldn’t go out when I turned on the T.V and some movie called ‘Natural Born Killers’ was on, and I thought it kicked fucking ass so I went on the intenet after it and I looked it up and found out this guy called Quentin Tarantino originally wrote it so I printed out a list of movies he was involved in got up and went down to Blockbuster where I rented Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Four rooms and From Dusk till Dawn 'cos it said he starred in it (if you’re wondering how a thirteen year old kid can rent all these movies, heres your answer, I was friends with the guy who worked at the video store) And the entire time I was grounded I just watched these movies, I loved them so much I started reading about Tarantino and other movie directors and learning about film making. I kept going back and renting movies all the time eventually I became friends with the entire staff of Blockbuster in my town and now I get free movie rentals, neat eh? And that my friend is the end of the story, and I lived happily ever after.
The women in tarantino films can kick some major fuckin ass, so why wouldn’t any woman like 'em.
hi! I´m new here. My name is Maria,24 yrs, lives in Sweden. The first QT film I saw was Reservoir dogs in maybe -92,-93? I loved it! I love all his films. Actually, when i saw Kill Bill i got kind of obsessed! Haha! I think he has his own unique style, even though he´s influenced by other films and directors, but he makes the finished product his own. I thin that his movies are fresh, and that they will last forever!

Well hello there
My name’s Rebekah (Bex) and I am a huge tarantino fan, infact Im planning to conduct my phd in his work, which will be invetigating the effects his films have on his fans by conducting audience research.
I live in Worcestershire England and first got hooked on QT when I watched Pulp Fiction at the age of 13.
I love every single QT flick, I love Four Rooms all of them, ive watched Kill Bill 1 and 2 the most amount of time though as they are amazing and are probalby my favourite QT flicks although its really hard to just narrow his stunning oevure down to just one flick.
I like loads of film genres, anything from romance to avant garde. ive just last month finished my MA in film and loved every minute of doing it.
