Female tarantino fans

From France and speaking english? I’m proud of you.

hahaha ! thank…but…well… my english is not perfect…really not :-</E> lol

Welcome Aurélie. It doesn’t matter if your english isn’t perfect, my english is far from it and yet I’m having great time here.

My english isnt perfect, and its the only language I speak! I have MUCH respect for anyone who can speak another language! I tried to learn Japanese, but I suck! English is the hardest language in the world, you should be proud! ;D

welcome!

my english isn’t so good either. but what the hell. :stuck_out_tongue:

have read a little bit french too.

“excuse moi, je suis en retard” was the first meaning my teacher learned me! ;D

You’re very welcoming ! it’s cool ! thank again ;D

Mia i’m used to utter this sentence too, very frequently ! lol

yeah thats great! lol!

Damn, I’ll never learn French… They’ve been teaching it to me in school for half a year now, and I didn’t understand that “excuse moi, je suis en retard” sentence completely. I was in France, I knew english but it was as useful if I knew Azerbaijan.

hello, I’m french too and so… a female QT fan too…

I just post now something here (I could have post earlier but I haven’t something very original to say, except I’m QT fan). I thnik that the hardest langage isn’t english (it’s quite easy to speak and write in english), French and German are much more difficult ! I say that even if French is my langage (and so I can good speak in french…lol), and even if I can express myself in german too (not as good my own langage)

English is so easy. It’s the most uncomplicated language. I can’t understand how I managed to learn it, because I’ve been learning Russian for 4 years and don’t understand a goddamn phrase, I’m afraid I’ll never learn french too.

oh yeah I know how difficult it is to speak in german, but it’s a little bit easier to speak german for me because my mum has lived in germany during almost 7 years (when she was young, so it is just like her own langage, at least when she was younger), and I often go to germany (in “schwarzwald”) where the family of my mum live. But I learn the langage at school just like the others pupils (but ok It’s easier for me…)… but soon I will post something new in german (maybe to answer what is my favorite QT movie… I already did this in the french board, so I will do it again in german !)… But thanks again to encourage me to speak in german !

total quentin fan here…however, i usually go for the more violent films…even when i was younger.

feel good movies like “the Wedding Planner” make me ill.

Hi, i’ve been on this board for alittle while now but haven’t really posted much. I first saw reservoir dogs about 2 years ago, and shortly after i saw pulp fiction. RD is my favorite film because its a great story, fantastic acting, and Tim Roth and Micheal Madsen are particularly awesome.

Its great and surprising to see so many females on this board. I think alot of women who give QT a chance would love him, but it seems like very male dominated genres, so i think alot of women are scared away.

I’m another female(from the Netherlands) who happens to like QT’s movies. Just hopped on the bandwagon since Kill Bill though. Saw his other movies before and I liked them, but I love Kill Bill.

I don’t think his movies are unfriendly towards women. Sure, some of his characters are, but I think you should be able to look past that. I’m not offended by it.

The first Tarantino film I saw was obviously Pulp Fiction. I think my dad showed it to me when I was 7 or something. I was brought up similarly to Quentin in the parental film censoring way. I have been obsessed with films all my life and as I saw my fifth Quentin film and realised most of my favourite films were by the same director I decided to find out more.

Quentin is also more accessible than most celebrities and he is unique in many ways, mostly that he is the first director to be a superstar and is recognised worldwide- I could go on complimenting him all day but I won’t in case he reads it and his ego explodes!

I was attracted to him after seeing FDTD- I think that the female fans appreciate him for more than what the males do. We see and feel what you do but maybe with a sexual point of view too…

Am I right or am I right ladies?

You are right, absolutly right

I second that!

Marilyn, I havent heard from you for a while! Good to hear from you again! ;D

Hello I´m also new here Im from germany and my english is just as bad as my french ;D So I hope everyone understands me

i love the way that in QTs films, women are as strong a character as the guys! Theyre fighting, snorting drugs etc … i cant stand no movie where the females are all whimsical & no brained! I like to see women kick ass which is probably why KB is my movie from heaven! [/quote]

I love that also.

I LOVE movies with kick ass females a hell of a lot.
