I will say that Roth’s got balls for putting something out like this but im speaking for myself that I wont be seeing this. Im just not interested in seeing a bunch of trailers of movies that will never be made.
I love the idea IF only it’s exploitation movies that looks from the 60’s-70’s, because he has not stated that yet, has he? If it is just trailers of regular movies, then that would suck.
But if it’s a “Grindhouse” trailerfest, then I’ll be watching it, but you know the only reason he is doing this is because he thought he struck gold with creating “Thanksgiving” in which anybody who has seen holiday horror movies would know to make something like that.

I like the idea of having it like “Kentucky Fried Movie”. KFM had some really good fake trailers so done right this might work.
What a waste of time to make and watch, he’s going to steal RR and QT’s idea and expand upon it. What an idiot.
His writing sucks. His directing sucks. His advice sucks. He sucks.

This is gonna bomb HARD. I regard myself as a modest fan of exploitation movies, and even I have no interest in spending two hours watching nothing but fake trailers.
This sounds like the kind of thing that might be mildly entertaining on DVD where you
can just watch a few at a time. Kinda like the Troma dvds. The kind of thing you watch
when you’re sick of looking for something good or you’re drinking with your buddies and
nobodies really watching anyway. But if they all have a linking story line and need to be
watched together count me out.
Roth’s Thanksgiving trailer seemed to miss the point I think too. While it was funny, it
seemed like Roth was more about making fun of grindhouse movies than emulating and
paying homage to them. That and I’m just really sick of the hole “grindhouse” fad. I just
don’t get the appeal of making intentionally bad movies and fabricating poor video quality.
Roth was not making fun of “Grindhouse” movies in any way.
Here is someone who actually liked his movies 
but I must say this idea doenst sound all to good, yeah sure it could be fun to watch!! but I dont think many other people would want to wach it and it would bomb.
although his idea about pot smoking zombies. Damn! I imagine that could be a pretty funny trailer. I could even watch a whole movie about Zombies on weed ^^

Would a zombie on weed be any different than a zombie not on weed? I mean,
what’s it gonna do? Make them walk slower and want to eat people even more?
