Ebert And Roeper Tonight!

Nigga I’m cool like the Fonz. It wouldn’t be a travesty IMO. Roeper is a picky wishy-washy motherfucker, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave it a thumbs down. It wouldn’t impact the box office ratings that bad. haha, or would it? Shit, this is all hypothetical, I wouldn’t know what the fuck would happen if he gave it thumbs down. Never mind.

I can’t believe Roeper gave thumbs up to Broken Lizard’s Club Dread. That fucking cockbite, that movie was shit. I’m also still in shock he gave AOTC thumbs up. Ebert responded, “I can’t believe you’re telling me you actually liked this movie!?!!!?!!!” Ebert was pissed. It was a funny episode. I can’t wait till they fight over Episode 3.

On the movies that are destined to be great, like The Passion and Kill Bill, they always give them 2 thumbs up. Not just because of how good the movies are, but what the director’s intentions were in making the movie.

Ebert gave fuckin XXX 3.5 stars while giving Donnie Darko 2.5 stars! I guess his lil stroke must have made him half-retarded.

Wasn’t it Siskel that had the stroke? Then he…died?

No, Siskel had cancer and died. Ebert’s the fat fuck who had a stroke. Remember, fat fuck = stroke.

Well I guess I ain’t gettin no stroke then.

My enthusiasm is building up every minute now. I think this one will be superior to volume 1 in almost every way. Still, I think the review by these guys was a bit too revealing.  :-/ They shouldn’t have told about the

SPOILER ALERT!

…Buried alive scene.

END SPOILER!

I agree with that spoiler Royale…they couldve done without that, when I was watching the show I felt like turning away at some points, but I just couldnt resist, I HAD to see this new footage. I especially felt like turning away when they showed Budd with the sword in his hand. But fuck I just kept watching!

Yeah, so, in case it needs to be written explicitly, which I don’t think it does, that review is only increasing my desire to see Vol. 2 (as if that needed to be done), and I am extremely excited that people are calling it even better than Vol. 1.

For the unfortunate people like myself who didn’t get to see the review, you can now listen to it on the Ebert and Roeper website.

It’s torture having to listen to the footage and sound effects but it’s better than nothing.

Just to help you guys out on some of the visual aspects of the audio feed:

-Swinging effects are The Bride (facing the camera) doing crane style, then followed by her & Pei Mei in the red silhouette sequence.

-Bride is carrying 2 pails of water on a stick uphill.

-Thumping sounds are Uma striking her fists against the wooden board. Pei Mei is behind her thumping his cane on the the ground to her rhythm.

-Pei Mei’s line is “Your swordsmanship–Is amatuer at best”

-The swordswinging effects that follow that line are seen on bootleg trailer #2 that has the Bride’s back to the camera (Obviously her stunt double) as she swings her sword right in front of Pei Mei.

-Next sequence shows Pei Mei battling her, sending her flying against a tree, stealing the sword (with ease) and throwing it flawlessly on a sword rack

-Budd and Bill dialogue scene takes place in front of Budd’s trailer (Looks like Calico to me!)

During Roeper’s remarks, we see Pei Mei doing the familiar flip-trick on the sword and kicking her, then Budd on the phone with Elle (Looks like the same footage from Vol-1’s last scenes) talking about the Hanzo sword, and then as Roeper talks about “fight sequences” and “Black humor”, We see a training scene with Pai Mei punching a hole through the wood followed by these subtitled lines:

“Since your arm belongs to me…I want it strong. Can you do that?”

“I can but not that close”
