Chris Penn has died

Oh my god…I can’t believe it…RIP Chris. :’(

Oh no. This is coming as a huge shock. :-[ I loved Chris Penn, but he never seemed to full get the respect he deserved, but im glad so many people here realize his talent. Damn he’ll be missed. :’(

Has anybody seen his interview on the Reservoir Dogs special edition dvd? He talks in detail about the day he spent with Lawrence Tierney before shooting of the movie began. Hilarious stuff. He seemed to be quite a nice guy, he will surely be missed by every Tarantino fan that’s for sure.

Do someone know how he died ? That must be very difficult for the Penn Family :-</E>

Yeah I also think he’ll miss every one… :-</E>

Yea, i love that part. Its gonna break my heart next time i watch it.

Oh my god, I can’t believe it… it seems so impossible. One minute he’s there in the movie, now he’s DEAD, he doesn’t exist, he’s just memories. Really shocked me.

man … i just saw it on tv, fuckin unexpected, one of my favorite actors from the 90’s, and that’s not a lie, i love Chris Penn, the third Reservoir Dog to die in 4 years…

we’ll miss you, mate

R.I.P Chris Penn.

Ohhh, that’s really sad news !! R.I.P. Chris :’( :’( :’(

Damn, I didn’t even see this thread, MiaRose just told me now about the news. This is truly shocking. My sentiments go out to the Penn family.

R.I.P

HEY, come on! This thread is too goddamn deep, I didn’t find it. I understand sub sections, but what’s with sub-sub-sub-subsections? How are people supposed to find about his death? Nobody ever visits this place.

it’s on www.tarantino.info anyway because it’s so busy right now.

it’s really a shame he died, I wished he would have had the chance to at least win an Oscar or something so that the world sees that he is such a great actor

This sucks alot. I only saw his more famous films but I agree he had alot of talent and will be sorely missed.

This is a Sad day

:frowning:

RIP Chris Penn

So what’s gonna happend with these movies?

Aftermath (2006/II) (post-production) … Tony

King of Sorrow (2006) (post-production)

They’re already made? Dunno what post-production means

Even if they said there’s no sign of foul play, I think drugs or drinking must be involved, if you look at his publicity photo on imdb he looks completely shit-faced. This really sucks, he should have been cast in a lot more movies and stuff lately, I honestly think he’s more talented than his shitheel brother. 3 people being dead from Reservoir Dogs is really suspicious too, even if 2 of them were so old. If Michael Madsen dies I think we all gotta organize a manhunt.

Rest in peace Christopher. Last time I saw you was in ‘Starsky and Hutch’. You were as good as your brother. What a loss.

As well as ‘Reservoir Dogs’ don’t forget his role as the pool cleaner in Robert Altman’s excellent ‘Short Cuts’.
