Cameos in Eli Roth's movies

After the success of Cabin Fever Eli Roth started getting amazing cameo appearances in his movies… In Hostel he got the Asian king of extreme, the director of Audition, Takashi Miike… Now in Hostel 2 he got the Italian king of extreme, the director of Cannibal Holocaust, Ruggero Deodato… If there was one, what do you think the next cameo appearance will be in Cell? I find it weird that Tarantino has no cameo appearances in any of the Hostel movies… Eli and him are so close… He was supposed to be one of the torturers in Hostel but Eli said to himself, Tarantino and Miike in the same movie, thats just too much… I don’t think that’s the real reason though… Anyways dnt think Tarantino would be Eli’s next choice unless the movie is also gonna be “Presented” by QT… Who’s next? Who’s as disturbed, sick and bizzare as Miike and Deodato and would make a good choice… Though not as disturbed, sick and bizzare I think George A Romero would make a perfect choice since Stephen King dedicated the novel to him, plus its a zombie movie and who’d make a better choice than the king of zombie movies…

I have said this in another thead(somewhere out there)Cell will definitely have George Romero cause the book Cell is dedicated to Romero.

Hey, before we talk about Cell, Let’s not forget more cameos for Hostel 2! 8)

Including Edwige Fenech!

Don’t miss the last paragraph.

[/quote]Why in the world would George A. Romero appear in a fucked up Eli Roth movie. I’m anticipating Eli’s zombie flick, however, Romero is not the kind that would lend his time to a fucking hack. Eli should proof that he can deliver in other aspects of film, not just gore. Eli is overrated as a horror director. Plus, George is finally getting some real work – (Rumors: He’s working on “Stubbs The Zombie” movie after Diary of the dead). Why would anyone want to go watch people being tortured and mutilated for 90 minutes! So much gore, its numbing!

Well for one thing the book cell was inspired by Night of the living nigtht(i believe) and it is dedicated to Romero.

yeaa nd loyd kaufmen from troma was offered a part in cabin fever but declined to go do a part in the film the tunnel although i hate cabin fever what a bad choice that was for him he would have got some publicity from that.

I may be the only one who likes Cabin Fever plus i may be the only one who hates Troma.

troma is great nd i couldent get into cabin fever at all i had to shut it off the first time i seen it then i had to go back and re watch it nd i still hated it.

You’re not the only one

how dont you like troma class of nuke em high toxic avenger mothers day monster in the closet tromeo and juleat the list can go on forever there good yea there quanity over quality unlike fullmoon which is a better company but is quality over quanity

Well i have only bought one of troma’s movies(combat shock) and it has terrible quality. On the dvd he’s doing an interview on the street and he starts yelling at the camera just kidding around and the whole time im thinking “this isnt professional!” but i have been dying to see Toxic avenger, mother’s day, and graduation day so i might have to give troma another chance.

combat shock? loyd kaufmen even said that was one of his worst movies.

hahaha really…glad i only paid 8 bucks for that piece of crap then

The movie’s intro (Which is done by him) sounds otherwise. Where’d you hear this at?

But don’t go into thinking that ALL Troma movies are like this. Combat Shock is one of the few properties that was picked up by the company. It wasn’t made for it.

On topic, doesn’t the last words by the chick at the very end sound like “Pleease! Suck my balls!”
