saw the film in a nice dvd package at my loal dvd store
and since i dont really know much about it i just wanted to know from QT forum meners how thge film is and how it is compared to classic slasher flicks-----------dont forget i´m talkin about the original(i think there was a remake wasnt there?)
is it more “halloween” or "texas chainsaw mascre(eg more subtle horror with little gore and violence or all out outrage gory terror)??
Black Christmas was one of the first slasher (1974, 4 years before halloween). It is closer to Halloween than Texas but i doubt Carpenter took his inspiration from it cause by the end of the day both films are really differents. Actually, among the other slashers, this one is unique and really stands alone…
