He should do less mainstream stuff to get that credit…
well, scocsese did - and it got him nowhere.

DiCaprio doesn’t get the artistic credit that he deserves.

Completely agree.
I hope Dicaprio becomes the next DeNiro, he deserves it.

God, I hate this! He won’t become the next De Niro, alright. He’s exceptional as it is. And no exceptional, talented actor ever becomes some other actor that people love for classics he has made. Christ, he doesn’t even want it. It’s not like it’s his life goal or anything. Get over De Niro, please, this goes to all Scorsese fans who still blindly believe he’s gonna make another Taxi Driver.
In fact he is already as great as he can be. Awesome in The Aviator, awesome in The Departed. A unique actor, and with his own style and everything. The idea he should become anyone else is ridiculous. He really is one of my fav actors and only because he is what he is.
And actually IF I had to compare him with any actor from the past, it’d be James Dean.
I didn’t actually mean to compare him to DeNiro, i meant that… eeh… I don’t know what I meant. :-[
Im to tired for this

Hahah
I think i meant to say that i don’t want him to get famous for titanic-ish roles but that period seems to be over, thank Jebus…
