Ascending the imdb top 250 ladder!

Theres a nice review of Pulp Fiction (Movie of the day) at IMDB. Check it out:

www.imdb.com

Tarantino’s movies have been “motd” at imdb.com a zillion times. no wonder why.

I just don’t know how it happened (#8 in top250). May be this film is like fine wine – gets better with time.

But NO! That’s not the truth. Wine changes but a movie that is already made couldn’t change – it’s a fact, a constant. But moving from #13 to #8 for just a month means raised interest. But why exacly now. What the hell is going on?

P.S. I took it personally when PF blew out StarWars >:(

i noticed, great shit, now Res Dogs should move up from #81 to the top 20 etleast

how does that rating shit work anyway? some movies that have a high enough score dont make it on the top250 list at all…

They propably don’t have enough regular voters. Only their votes are counted in The Top 250 -section. I’m not sure what regular voter means, maybe it’s a bloke who has voted for over 250 movies.

I think the rank is determined by the number of people that vote a high score for that film. For example, a total 10 people may vote a score of 10 for Reservoir Dogs and a total of 20 people may vote a score of 10 for Pulp Fiction, whch would mean Pulp Fiction is placed higher on the top 250 list.

remember: keep voting 1 for manos

Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) - IMDb

and get it back at number 1 in the bottom 100

I remember several years ago when this was down somewhere in the 30’s or 40’s and Once/West was down in the 80’s. Look how high both of them are now. The DVDs sure helped them out.

Where’s The Royal Tenenbaums? Please I beg of you all to vote, spread the word!
