Additional HOSTEL buzz topic
Q: What will you be working on next?

A: The next thing is, I’ll be coming out with the whole “Kill Bill” all together, cut together like one big epic, with an intermission in the middle of it like a '60s film. I’ll be coming to the theater with that, and then it’ll be coming out on DVD. I just wanted a year where I’m not thinking about “Kill Bill,” and then I’d be ready to do this new DVD package.

Q: Are you working on any new movies right now?

A: Now that the Weinsteins have a new company, we can start doing new movies. I’ll start talking about that soon.
I think those idiots really thing Tarantino made this movie. They don’t even mention Roth! what a bunch of wankers (always wanted to say that)

When Hostel first released, I kept hearing people say “I want to see Tarantino’s new movie, he’s an awesome director” and I kept telling them eli roth directs it…but it really pisses me off when people walk out that don’t like the movie and say “That’s not a good tarantino flick”…I’m not mad because they don’t like it, but they declare it to be HIS movie that he directed.

yeah people are just too dumb to read the credits

Is it just me?, or is Hostel not as bloody and violent as I thought it would be. I think i’ve seen bloodier flicks than Hostel…like - Devil’s Rejects or Day Of The Dead.

but isn’t it way sicker?

I’ve looked and not found what Quentin did in the movie. OK, he did’nt direct it, and heretell he didn’t write it, so what did he do? (the writing bit probably be lies)

he produced it and helped Roth a little with the script. that’s all.

QT interview on HOstel:

thanks man, very cool interview, i’m EXTREMELY thrilled to see (The) Grind (House), whatever it’s called now, no word about IB, but no biggy, let him do this thing now, i’d rather have him take his time then rushing it, perfection requires time

but i’m getting my over-butterd, over-salted, greasy popcorn ready, same with the cola with the layer of grease on top, bring it on

No. I think they don’t even read the credits. Especially in those big cinemas people just leave after the movie stopped. I remarked this when i was at the movies watching “The Hills Have Eyes” Only me and two other guys sat down until the end of the credits.

But before the movie starts there are the opening credits so they should get it…but then they still talk until actin begins.
