awesome. Wish they would do one of these cool pics for TWBB, but it’s no big deal. PDL is my fav of PTA of course, we agree on that.

2009 Track Your Script/Stories presents the review of:
F.W.‘s "Dinosaurs"
A story of love, death, birth, and spilled milk. As the story develops, stories of love turn into depression for the characters. Not to spoil anything for any that will read this, but the story goes back and forth between groups of characters as they unleash their different stories. To be honest, I wasn’t really focused on it at the beginning (not one for script reading, but I did this because the writer seems pretty cool) so I stayed with it. As I stayed focus, it got better, and the characters’ personalities started to show. Really good story, and hopefully we will see it as a film someday. Just one question for the writer, why did you feel Dinosaurs was the appropriate title for it and how you felt about this story as you wrote it?

I fuckin’ will.

The title was original something stupid like Symmetry which…was just so bad. So as the script writing went on, I thought of some of the scenes and how they related to the theme I was going for. And Bryant’s fascination with dinosaurs and their bones came to mind. The Dinosaurs thing just came out of that and I felt it could mean two or three things and people could choose for themselves.
I started writing it as a biopic about the Jena Six and I wanted to delve into the life of Southern black youth. Instead something else came out of it and I added the pedophilia plot because I haven’t seen a whole lot of films about pedophiles that are sympathetic towards them. I’m not a pedophilia apologist or anything but I feel like everyone deserves to be considered a human at least once. I felt it started out okay but grew into something great. I don’t feel that way about everything I write, I delete a lot of it but this I loved by the time I finished it.
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m hoping to get it off the ground in the coming years but I have to fix it up and cut some of the chubbiness off it.
Yeah I don’t really remember anything (not just recent) that had a story that was sympathetic towards pedophiles. I didn’t really want to stat talking about the pedophile part, just in case someone else were to read it like Ordell, Clili, or whoever you wanted to read it. But it was great. How many stories do you have written?

It’s not that big a spoiler. Ordell doesn’t like my writing, he’s an expert so I would take his word for it.
I’ve written quite a few but a lot were lost when my laptop crashed and burned in May. Out of 30 scripts I salvaged 10.

that sucks dude. I hope you remembered some of what was lost, and hopefully re-write, maybe a story would come out better. Did Ordell read something that I did?

Yeah, it blew but I’m writing new shit, always am, always will be.

Pardon?
Wanted - 3/5
A shockingly good movie considering: stupid, loud, cliched (funny to me how things that weren’t cliche now feel very cliched, point in fact the climax of the climax of this movie), and completely aware of all this. It embraces it’s silly nature and doesn’t take itself too serious, so you can enjoy it for what it is. The best part of all was seeing the movie unspool as a fun watch, you know it’s dumb, the film knows it’s dumb, and neither of you gives a god damn.
There Will Be Blood - 5/5
Watched this last night instead of sleeping and slowly descended into madness.
I’m finished!
Yeah, but his stuff is weaker in comparison to Fulci and Bava’s work. Also, I just got into Bruno Mattei and his work is amazing too.
Just to throw this out there: I will never forgive Mattei for the awful horribleness of Rats: Night of Terror or Hell of the Living Dead. Zombi 3 was no picnic either. Although, if you’ve got some friends around, Hell of the Living Dead is so bad it can actually be pretty fun. What area of his are you a fan of?
Pardon?

I was asking did you read the same script, or a different one? I thought I remembered F.W. saying you had a different one.
A Night at the Opera - 5/5
Marxism at its best.
Stella (whole series) - 5/5
Say what you will, at least they’re completely unique.
Mother of Tears - 0/5
Not only is it Argento’s worst, it’s also the worst film to ever come out of Italy.

I knew it was going to suck right after that person threw her baby (clearly a doll, arm broke off) over the bridge into the water. It was one of the funniest things I have seen in a horror movie.
Here it is: watch at 1:50: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5rTxtHUzDc
It wasn’t even the good kind of suck and it didn’t have the masterful incomprehension that Inferno did. Inferno is the best in that series.
