French connection is from the 70’s though, not a recent movie.
I still do not think the car chase in DP was special at all. What was so cool about it? The cars were cool but it was no different from hundreds of car chases Ive seen before. Only the crash was something sorta new.
Its still my opinion the Matrix had the best car sequence, perhaps ever. Feel free to have a fanboi meltdown now over my opinion.
