I was introduced to Reservoir Dogs when I was 18 (2002) and I liked it so much I immediately downloaded and watched Pulp Fiction. I absolutely loved it even though i was watching it at like 6am, having not gone to bed yet. I heard Misirlou at the beginning and was like “OH! I get it now!” because for the longest time HBO would play that song in their promos and until then I thought it was the HBO theme. I was really excited about Kill Bill Vol 1, it was my most anticipated film of 2003, after The Matrix Reloaded (I thought the sequels were a major disappointment; my favorite director(s) before Tarantino were the Wachowski Bros.). I’ve since bought every DVD that Tarantino directed and I’ve watched each movie several times. I’m now 24 and eagerly anticipating Inglorious Bastards.
