Bill NEVER found out that it was really Elle who killed Budd and not Beatrix. Bill was still left with the impression that it was Beatrix who killed Budd from the phone call Elle made to him. What was interesting is that in the Bill/Beatirx converstation near the end of the film, Bill never even brings up the issue of Beatrix killing Budd. The only hatred Bill had for Beatirx was the notion of Beatrix leaving him to marry some jackoff while being also pregnant with his child. Although I don’t agree with what Bill did to Beatirx I can also understand why he would react like that.
