im very new indeed here not just to this great site but also to forums in general.
i live in the UK love qt to bits, my favourite film out of everything hes done i think might be kill bill volume 2 but i do love obviously everything so its hard to choose, plus i think four rooms is fantastic which i know a few others agree with me on
i loved his csi ep also, hope he does something with tv
anyway that is me i have one post going on at the moment which is called research help and there a small questionaiire which if you have 5 mins wont take long to answer

Yo all - I’m Emma, 17, currently residing in sunny Oxford, England. I’m an absolute film geek, spend all my money on DVDs and cinema tickets, and I’m a huge fan of QT in particular. Reservoir Dogs is probably my favourite film of all time, and certainly my favourite Tarantino movie, so expect to see a lot of me in the RD section. Aside from QT, I worship Steve Buscemi and Johnny Depp.
Let’s see…non-QT favourite films include Ed Wood, Gattaca, Donnie Brasco, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Finding Neverland, Taxi Driver, Moulin Rouge and Ghost World. Music-wise, I love rock, metal, and punk when it’s done right. Oh, and I’m also a big lit geek. That’s about the all…oh, and I have an LJ under the same name if you’re really that fascinated by me. o_o.

I have been a QT fan ever since my brother got me a very dodgy VHS of Reservoir Dogs back in '92 for my birthday. I loved it then and still do, my fave of all QT’s movies. I also love his other work and have all his films now on DVD.
I’m glad to have found this place although I’m flabbergasted by the compexity of the boards. I am looking forward to chatting with you all.

I’m Rachael, i’m 19 and british. I got into Tarantino films about 2 years ago when i was studying Film at school. I had to analyse the ear scene from Reservoir Dogs (basically just talk about Tarantino’s “shocking” use of contrapuntal music- stuck in the middle with you- at a moment of such violence, then followed by a moment of humour) and the film completely enthralled me.
I think a lot of people find it weird i’m such a huge tarantino fan when i’m female… but i was always into violent films, haha, before i saw RD, Goodfellas was my fave film.
It’s not about the violence though, it’s more to fo with the directing style and the narrative stucture… i love how Tarantino uses dialogue and actual “storytelling” to guide his films along, rather than just action… as a writer i can really relate to that.
Ok, I’m rambling, shutting up now…

Hey There. I’m Zach. I have been here for a while and I forgot to introduce myself. I’m 20 years old. I live in Southern Maryland. I got into Tarantino after seeing his three films of the 1990’s: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, and Jackie Brown. I became a QT fan when I was 14. Pulp Fiction was the film that made me love films. Later on, I got into The Godfather, 2001:a space odyssey, and The Good The Bad and The Ugly. When I saw Kill Bill on the big screen, It was the best cinematic experience. Kill Bill is one film to me, not two.
